The best part about the Captain’s Lady is the captain himself. Put simply, everyone loves Leroy. He’s friendly, endearing, and cheerful…ALL THE TIME! Leroy is a retired Marine, a NAUI Instructor, and has been a boat captain for almost 15 years. The Captain’s Lady only needs a minimum of four divers to go out, so Leroy is often available during the off-season when the larger boats lack the number of divers to warrant a charter. Granted, the Captain’s Lady lacks many of the features of the larger boats, but she does have the big ones- plenty of dry storage and a marine head. And, for its size, the boat handles quite well in rough seas. In short, the Captain’s Lady is the perfect boat for divers wanting fewer people and increased dive site variety without the higher price tag, And, rest assured, what the Captain’s Lady may lack in amenities, she totally makes up for in personality.
